We celebrated a dual birthday for cousins Trevor and Masen while family was in town. The girls collected carnival prizes.
Taylor can talk Uncle Jeff into doing things that daddy won't do for her.
The kids got sleds for Christmas and we really wanted to go sledding with the cousins like we did last year. Unfortunately, we just haven't had much snow. We found one spot that was doable, but it wasn't the best conditions and it was a long drive. That on top of tired, sick kids made for a mediocre experience. The hill was hard to climb and right off the bat without much experience with sledding, Dani climbed to the very top and "flew" down over large bumps and went flying into the air. Oops. No one went that high after that.
Sam still wasn't feeling well, but he managed to go down a few times and enjoyed them until he got cold.
Daddy took the kids down a few times and this tree saved them most of the time.
Jo and Carlie enjoyed staying on the ground pretending to sled.
Dusty and Mark decided to be brave and take a new route - both ending up injured.
The crew - minus Sheryl who is taking the picture.

Christmas Day
Our tree.
Finding their presents.
Jo was excited to get his long awaited batcave.
We ended up getting our family Christmas picture.
Taylor excited about their portable DVD player and Dani over her electric scooter.
The boys on Christmas. Poor little Sam wasn't feeling good and didn't get involved in most of the excitement.
The girls finding lots of presents.
Trevor and Jo playing hockey.
Taylor giving Kara a makeover.

Pre-Christmas
The boys enjoying one of their movies together.
Daddy reading a bedtime Christmas story.
Sam feeding his cousing, Emmett.
Papa aiming at the kids with his Marshmellow gun. He made them for all the kids too and they had a blast shooting each other.
Don't you think it's a little unfair that Sheryl is due a month before me and I have the bigger belly (and I won't accept the excuse that it's my 5th and only her 4th).

kids
We're excited to have cousin Emmett living back it town and look forward to seeing him (and family) as often as possible. The kids have loved the baby which is good news since they will have one full-time soon.

Tree Decorating
We needed an annual Christmas picture, but Dad has early meetings, so the kids will have to suffice. Maybe we'll luck out and get one Christmas morning.
Dad decided we needed a picture of mom decorating the tree this year.
Taylor getting her ornament ready.
Dani with her lovely expressions.
Jo putting his ornaments on the back of the tree.
Sam was pouting because everyone was trying to put their ornaments in "his space." Luckily daddy came to the rescue.
