And they're off!

Day number one of school and the girls say they're ready for next summer to get here already.  I don't fully believe that.  I think they'll enjoy their school year.  They both have good teachers with good friends in their classes.  I was lucky enough to get one day to do their hair, but it will be like pulling teeth from here on out.

Congratulations! or Another One?

These are the two responses we have mostly received as people have found out about our upcoming arrival.  I realize that 5 children may seem like a lot, but we feel we have something to offer another child that they may not receive born into many homes today: Love.  We may not be the perfect parents and we certainly have a lot of downs with all the ups, but we are excited to rear another one of Heavenly Father's choice spirits and only hope we can continue to raise all of our children to know of not only our love for them, but also the love their Heavenly Father has for them.

Visit from Aunt Shirley

Taylor took swimming lessons a second time this summer and loved the experience a lot more.  She had so much more confidence and loved diving off the diving board.

Mark's aunt comes to visit for a few weeks every year.  The kids spent a lot of time with her.  Grandma and Papa treated the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for extra playtime.

Dani mad at me for making her miss the target asking her for a picture.

Time with Uncle Matt

While visiting in Salem, Uncle Matt gave us a special tour of the Salem Hospital.  He took us up top to see the Helipad.  I had never viewed Salem from up high and never realized how beautiful it was.  If only it didn't require so much rain to get that way.
Jo chillin at the beach house.
Taylor enjoyed playing with my Uncle's dogs.
