For labor day we spent the day together at Julia Davis Park. We first made a few stops to buy everyone Bronco shirts, but they didn't have any in the girl's sizes. At the park we had a picnic lunch and then fed the "ducks," mostly geese. There were too many to manage and one of them got Sam in the stomach. Eventually we ended up holding both boys and the girls just threw whole pieces of bread just to be done with the swarm. We also rented the paddle boats. Boy, what a workout. Not as much fun for me doing all the work as it was for the kids enjoying the ride. The boys played a little at the playground while I taught the girls a few tennis skills. We couldn't have ended the day without cheering on our favorite football team - Go Boise State!
Our friends invited us over for dinner. The kids loved jumping in their jump house and playing on their swingset. Thanks for the great time!
