We took a trip to Oregon and spent the first half with Grandma Stevens.
We can't visit Salem without visiting the carousel with Great Grandma and Grandpa. They are so generous to always treat the kids to several rides.
We were lucky to spend several days at the beach in my Uncle's beach house.
We stopped to shop in Depoe Bay and Sam just had to have these binoculars. Unfortunatley it was a pretty foggy day, so not much to see.
We also visited Newport. Sam was so anxious to see the Sea Lions, however, it happens that July is the one month they migrate to California, so they were not there.
The kids favorite part about going to the beach is getting to come back to the house and warm up in the hot tub.
Daddy's favorite part of the trip is deep sea fishing. He took Dani along this time and caught this huge cod along with sea bass. He also was given crab by other members on the boat. I actually tried the fish and it wasn't as awful as I anticipated.
